EVENT OVERVIEW:

An industry cocktail competition featuring original cocktails made with Herradura Double Barrel Reposado. Bartenders serve samples to the crowd and then present to the judges.

JUDGING:

3 Main Judges

Scored on a 40-point system:

Flavor & Balance – 10

Technique & Execution – 10

Presentation & Story – 10

Use of Herradura Tequila– 10

Crowd Judges – 30 Guest Judges

Each crowd judge gets one vote.

Most votes = Best in Show.

COMPETITION FLOW:

1. Make your cocktail and pour 30 samples for the crowd.

2. Hand out your samples.

3. When it’s your turn, go up and make the cocktail for the judges on the mic.

On deck bartender makes samples → Crowd tastes → Present for Judges  → Next bartender goes in that order

BAR REQUIREMENTS / WHAT TO BRING:

Prey Provides:

Herradura Tequila

Lime

Agave

Ice (large format + 1" cubes)

COMPETITORS BRING:

All other ingredients

All garnishes

All bar tools

All glassware

Enough ingredients to make 30 two-ounce samples and 3 full cocktails

NOTE:

Basic glassware and equipment are available if needed — please inquire in advance.

TIMELINE:

5:15 PM – Competitor call time & setup

6:00 PM – Event begins

6:15 PM – First competitor starts

Rotating rounds until complete

AFTER LAST COMPETITOR:

Judges finalize Top 3

Crowd voting closes

Winners announced
